DIMARINE

DIMARINE is a structural steel developed specially for shipbuilding. It is distinguished by its ultra-high toughness even at low temperatures. Also prominent are its extremely good working properties and its excellent suitability for welding using high-speed welding processes, a benefit which greatly enhances its cost-efficiency. DIMARINE is supplied in the 8 to 100 millimeter plate thicknesses typically required for shipbuilding.

Its cost-effectiveness is multiplied, however, by the fact that DIMARINE is also available in otherwise difficult-to-obtain lengths and widths, saving you, the shipbuilder, many meters of weld. DIMARINE can be supplied in three strength classes, DIMARINE 32, DIMARINE 36 and DIMARINE 40, based on the A-E32, A-E36 and A-E40 strength classes characteristic of shipbuilding steels.
