The steel for your safety: DIPRO

Dillinger Hütte GTS supplies its DIPRO special steel for civilian-sector safety and security functions, i.e., for the protection of buildings, armoured limousines and armoured trucks against ballistic and explosive attack. DIPRO meets maximum safety standards, including FB 6 and FB 7 as per EN 1522, while nonetheless assuring minimum weight.

DIPRO 50 is a quenched and tempered steel with a hardness of not less than 50 HRC in delivery state. DIPRO 55 M, a maraging steel, is correspondingly even harder. The top-of-the-line product in this field is DIPRO 60 M, a two-phase maraging steel that achieves hardnesses of above 60 HRC on the attack-exposed face.
