Dillinger Hütte GTS, with its unalloyed and low-alloy pressure-vessel and boilermaking steels and, above all, with its branded steels, creates the preconditions for fulfillment of international standards and codes of practice, as well as practically all conceivable additional requirements specified by the customer or his engineer.

Dillinger Hütte GTS supplied the heavy plate for a number of the world's largest reactors, installed in Norco/LA.(USA).



The DIWA range of high-temperature branded steels is recommended for steam-boiler engineering. The sour-gas-resistant DICREST grades and SSCC-resistant steels have been developed for other pressure-vessel applications. In addition, Dillinger Hütte GTS also has CrMo- and CrMoV-alloyed steels available to meet the critical demands of reactor fabrication for the petrochemicals industry. High-tensile, water-quenched and tempered DIROS S and HT steels are used where weight-savings are needed for vessels of exceptional size. For low-temperature transportation tanks, Dillinger Hütte GTS supplies DILLINAL, an especially strong and tough steel to permit "lightweight" designs. DIZINC has been specially developed for zinc-plating baths, and steels designed specifically for enameling processes are also available.

The broad variety of steels supplied by Dillinger Hütte GTS is made even more attractive by the unusually wide range of dimensions in which they can be delivered, making fabrication of even the largest pressure vessels economically rational.

In addition, Dillinger Hütte GTS can also supply components that relieve you of some or all of the initial demanding processing operations - instead of simple as-rolled material, you can order edge-milled plate, or plates cut to net size and/or bent to service radius, or semi-finished shell sections, spherical segments and single- or multi-piece vessel ends.
