The strengths of DIROS proprietary steel:

• DIROS 500 vacuum-treated, water-quenched and tempered fine-grained structural steel is a further evolution of the P500Q steel standardised in EN 10028, Part 6, and of the ASTM/ASME A/SA 533 grade.
• DIROS 500 possesses high mechanical strength and extremely good low-temperature toughness. It is therefore ideal for use in pressure vessels in offshore structures for which weight-optimisation is of special importance.
• Customers can choose between two variants: DIROS 500 HT for maximum mechanical strength and DIROS 500 S for high mechanical strength combined with resistance to sour gases in accordance with the requirements of NACE MR 0175.
• Like all Dillinger proprietary steels, DIROS has extremely good working and welding properties.
