The quality of our steels also very much depends on what our employees are made of. People who take care, wholeheartedly and with the greatest skill, to ensure that – every time – we fulfil even the most demanding requirements, are the people who work at Dillinger – now, and tomorrow. This is why we, as an employer, attach the very greatest importance to providing our committed employees with a company environment in which they feel happy and in which they can achieve their full potentials.
Show what strengths you have – at Dillinger!
Dillinger is one of the largest training employers in our region, and hosts several hundred trainees and interns every year. In addition, there are also students from the University for Technology and Economy (HTW) in Saarbrücken and the Saarland University, who undertake a sandwich course with us to attain their university degrees.
The individual furtherance of our employees is one of the most important guiding principles of our company. Our continuous further-training provisions and active training strategies enable every employee to develop continuously.
Our "Die kleinen Hüttenbären" ("Steel Mill Bear Cubs") 1 and 2 children's' day centres enable all employees and their dependants to combine work and family life with each other more easily.
Dillinger promotes and supports a broad range of leisure and sporting activities, including tennis, soccer, dragon boating, nordic walking, table-tennis, and the "Fitte Hütte" ("Fit Steel Mill") athletics group. The annual inter-company mini-marathon in Dillingen has now evolved into a major local sporting event, for which we have frequently entered the largest team.
We regularly hold campaign days and campaign weeks focussing on health. Here, our employees get new ideas, tips and inspiration for healthy diets, exercise, and much, much more.
Innovative top-quality steel products, total orientation around our customers' needs and unceasing technological development in close cooperation with our partners form the basis of our success - as they have for more than 333 years.
